Leon Mintz was born and raised in Port Huron, Michigan. Now, he calls Pontiac, Michigan home.
Mintz writes songs, sings and plays guitar.
Enjoying to travel, Mintz has wandered through the castles of Britain and France, labored to the top of pyramids in Mexico and journeyed coast to coast in America.
Mintz has participated in the filming of broadcasted programs and commercials.
Since 2003, Mintz has been a publishing author with several novels to his credits. They range from modern-day vampirism to fantasy and historically-based Arthurian themes.
In 2018, Mintz graduated from the Specs Howard Digital Media Arts program. He did so at the top of his class and with several awards.
Recently, Mintz was a Quarterfinalist at the Los Angeles International Screenplay Fall 2022 Contest for his work, Ctrl+Alt+Del – The Awakening, a screenplay about a couple standing at the center of a dystopian psycho-thriller.
In 2022, Mintz volunteered at the Traverse City Film Festival.
Currently, Mintz works on a short film.
